When the triplets moved out we went from a house of eight to a house of five. So you can imagine that things are much quieter around here. But I guess that is about to change cause Jackie is once again pregnant.
I love being a father so I am of course thrilled. I can’t wait for this little one to join the family.
Justin is fascinated with Jackie’s baby bump. He is excited about being a big brother. He is also hoping the baby is a boy. Now that Jafar has moved out he his the only boy in the house. Other than me of course.
After a freezing winter and cold/wet spring it is finally summer. So when it was time for Justin and Jade’s birthday I decided to have a pool party.

Justin
Later that night Jackie went into labor.
This time we had twins. Jacob who looks a lot like Jackie.
And James who inherited more of my traits.
Following the twins birth I decided that my family was more important to me than fighting fires. I had already reached the top of my field and it was time to step down.
My brother Ian called me up and turns out his horse Snowball recently gave birth. He already has two horses and seeing as Shadow is the father he wanted to know if I was interested in adopting the pony. I immediately said yes.
Her name is Prairie and she looks a lot like Shadow. I can tell just from how fast she races around the yard that she is going to be a great race horse just like Shadow.
I do not regret for a minute stepping down from my job. I love being able to spend my days with the kids.
Today they had off from school so we all went to the Summer Festival. Joy and Jade went roller skating. Joy taught her little sister just like Jasmine and Jessica had taught her.
Justin is super athletic so he practiced his soccer moves. He plans to try out for the team at school this fall.
Later that night Shadow and I went to the Equestrian Center and entered another race. This one for an International Cup. We came in forth so not bad but also not a win. We hope to do better next time.
After I got home Justin and I had a basketball shootout before it was time to head to bed.
Before summer ended I decided to have another pool party. I was thrilled when Jafar’s wife Kristi announced that she is expecting a baby.
Turns out so is my daughter Jasmine. I can’t believe I am going to be a grandfather.
The guests all had a blast at the party. They went swimming and a couple of the guests had a water balloon fight.
Just as the party was drawing to a close Kristi went into labor.
Followed by Jasmine. Jackie and I got them to the hospital where they both had baby boys. I can’t believe I am a grandfather. I made sure to take pictures to send to Eve back in Sunlit Tides.
Speaking of boys the twins recently celebrated their first birthday. James looks a lot like me.
And Jacob like Jackie.
Now that I am home during the day we have been able to work together on skill building.
After being a maid for several years and then a stay-at-home mom Jackie decided she wanted a job that took her out of the house. She has an interest in business so she got a job working in the mail room at Hueber Associates. She is excited but also really nervous. I think she spent hours getting ready this morning.
So after seeing Jackie to her carpool and the older kids to the school bus I spent the morning with Shadow and Prairie. I got Shadow brushed and his hooves cleaned and then I bottle feed Prairie. I also made sure to play with Dexter and get him a fresh bowl of dog food.
After all of the pets were taken care of for the morning I worked with the twins on the skills. We finished up learning how to talk.
And tackled potty training today.
Once Jackie came home I took Shadow to the track and we practiced racing and worked on our jumping skills. He is getting older but still has a lot of speed in him.
That soon became our routine. Get up in the morning, see my family to work/school, take care of the animals, play with the twins until Jackie or the older kids get home, and end the day at the track with Shadow. We have entered several more races. We have won a few Advanced Races and came in Third at an International Race. We were happy to place but we still hold out for the blue ribbon.
Before I knew it we were once again celebrating birthdays.
The whole family came to help celebrate.
Joy is now a beautiful young adult. She loves art and registered as a self-employed painter. She decided to get a place of her own.
Jade is now a beautiful teen. Like her older sister she is passionate about art.
Jacob is a super smart little boy.
And James is smart and athletic.
Now that the kids are all older it is clear they have their own interests. Jacob loves to play chess and will spend hours playing against other sims on the computer.
James is more into sports and physical fitness. He loves to work out at the TV or Radio.
However, being twins the two are also best friends and try to spend time together by sharing each others interests. James will play chess with Jacob.
And Jacob will play basketball with James.
Like I said earlier Jade is an artist so she can almost always be found painting or sculpting.
Justin is also athletic and spends a good portion of his time working out or playing soccer.
Prairie is now an adult horse so I have been working with her at the track. We have a entered a few beginner races and won. She is a natural. It is obvious she inherited her speed from her father.
Jackie and I also recently attended a party at Jasmine’s house.
Of course I had to ask how my grandson was doing.
I was thrilled to find out that he was still up and I was able to read him a bedtime story.
Everything was going really well for all of us . . . until it wasn’t. A few days later I went out to the barn as I do every morning to check on the horses. I was devastated to see that the grim reaper had arrived to take Shadow. I had raised Shadow from a colt. He was my best friend for years.
I am heartbroken by his loss. I am glad to still have a piece of him in his daughter Prairie.
To make matters worse, Jade has started acting up. First she missed curfew and was picked up by the police.
Her mother and I were upset to see the police show up at our door at 2 am.
The next morning I was surprised to find her still in bed hours after the school bus had been by. She was tired from her late night out and decided to just skip school.
“YOU ARE GROUNDED YOUNG LADY. YOU WILL GO TO SCHOOL AND THEN COME STRAIGHT HOME!”
Later I got a call from the police that she had been caught spay painting the grass outside of the school.
When she got home I sent her straight to her room. I can’t believe her behavior.
The next day was Spooky Day so the kids had off from school. Jade had to stay home since she was grounded but the rest of us went to the Fall Festival. We toured the haunted house.
And bobbed for apples.
You can imagine my surprise when returned hours later and I caught Jade and some boy making out on the couch. I of course threw him out.
“WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN THAT YOU ARE GROUNDED?” I asked.
“YOU SAID I COULDN’T LEAVE THE HOUSE, NOT THAT I COULDN’T HAVE FRIENDS OVER. I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU EMBARRASSED ME LIKE THAT?” she shouted back.
While Jade and I were yelling at each other Jackie took the boys trick or treating. James was a Roman Soldier and Jacob a Pirate. They had a lot of fun and brought home tons of candy.
A few days later it was birthday time again.
All of our family and friends came to help celebrate.
The first one to age up was me. I am now an old man. Funny I still don’t feel old. I still feel like a man half my age.
Justin is now a handsome young man. He followed in my footsteps and joined the fire department.
He also proposed to his girlfriend Eileen.
James is a handsome teen.
And so is Jacob.
The boys are great. They are getting straight As in school. And spend most of their free time hanging out together. They still play chess and basketball. They also love the games upstairs like Foosball.
And table tennis.
I wish I could say the same for Jade. Her last report card was mostly Ds. She seems to bring home a different boy from school every week.
The last one had a purple mow-hawk.
We have been fined several $1000 by the police because she keeps sneaking into places at night to spray paint the grass and sides of buildings.
Last week I caught her drinking.
Grounding doesn’t seem to help because she just sneaks out.
She has been caught by the cops several times after curfew hanging out with her friends.
I have yelled out her.
Jackie has yelled at her.
Jackie is so stressed out about it she has been getting sick or at least that is what I thought was making Jackie sick.
Turns out she is pregnant. I can’t believe I am going to be a father again at the age of 70.
